  • we all have a love song

its been so many days since i felt your warm touch
our relationship put aside cause i could never trust
so im stuck here tryna make due with my imagination
its inadequate cause without you i lack a part of me
this lost thats kept me sleepless in my frustration
please excuse my compensation for love lost pardon me
its so hard to be me when im in pieces
i walked away cold with no thesis my heart it just ceases....
to beat so to greet me is the taste of these tears
for years my heart grew colder i just held it in
knowing within without you i would never win
but now my heart and mouth begin to shout
i miss you and love you i had to let it out
so please pour out your love like rain at the end of a drought
this is my route, what i've chosen to be about
i made the choice i need you and can no longer survive without
this love that removes all doubt

  • Chris Brown

Just to start of i would like to let it be known i dont condone Chris's actions in any way shape or form. At the same time im tired of hearing all this hate directed at him. My problem with these haters is the fact that they are all r&b fans. But if you listen to r&b through and through, time and time again all it does is disrespect and devalue women. The lyrics of the songs make women seem like objects and basically verbally abuses women.  My point is if you condone r&b then how can you hate Chris's actions which abused women the same as the songs. It seems to me like we dont even listen to what comes into our ears, but when we see what we have supported and by supporting essentially created face to face we dont like it anymore. So how can we judge him when we ultimately supported his actions. Bottom line is, he knows he made a mistake so stop hating and let him learn from it.

  • taken from lecrae truth

Look, man, some people say that God ain't real 'cause they don't see how a good God can exist with all this evil in the world. If God is real then He should stop all this evil, 'cause He's all-powerful right? What is evil though man? It's anything that's against God. It's anything morally bad or wrong. It's murder, rape, stealing, lying, cheating. But if we want God to stop evil, do we want Him to stop it all or just a little bit of it? If He stops us from doing evil things, what about lying, or what about our evil thoughts? I mean, where do you stop, the murder level, the lying level, or the thinking level? If we want Him to stop evil, we gotta be consistent, we can't just pick and choose. That means you and I would be eliminated right? Because we think evil stuff. If that's true, we should be eliminated! But thanks be to God that Jesus stepped in to save us from our sin! Christ died for all evilness! Repent, turn to Jesus man!"

  • lifehouse- storm

    how long have I
    been in this storm
so overwhelmed by the ocean's shapeless form
    water's getting harder to tread
with these waves crashing over my head

if I could just see you
    everything will be alright
    if I'd see you
    the dark
    ness will turn to light

and I will walk on water
and you will catch me if I fall
and I will get lost into your eyes
    and everything will be alright
    and everything will be alright

    I know you didn't
bring me out here to drown
so why am I 10 feet under and upside down
barely surviving has become my purpose
cause I'm so used to living underneath the surface

if I could just see you
    everything will be alright
    if I see you
the storminess will turn to light

and I will walk on water
and you will catch me if I fall
and I will get lost into your eyes
    and everything will be alright

and I will walk on water
you will catch me if I fall
and I will get lost into your eyes
    and everything will be alright
    I know everything is alright
    everything's alright

  • Judas

Like a week ago i was talking to an  older friend and he asked me a question. Do you think you are as good a christian as Judas was? For those of you who dont know Judas was the disciple who sold out Jesus for 30 silver pieces. My first response was of course i am, but upon examination i am not even close. Although Judas sold Jesus out that one time i have sold out so many more times and for free. The one sin Judas committed put Jesus on the cross, but after i thought about it every sin i have committed put Jesus on the cross just the same as his. At least after Judas realized that he had sold out Jesus and what that meant he was so remorseful he killed himself because he couldnt live with it. i myself realize what i have done but hardly think twice about it. Its very humbling to realize where i stand, but the important part is my realization of how often I sell out.
